Denver attended Morehead State University, where he was a member of the men's golf team. Denver received multiple Academic All-OVC Honors, and was a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Council. He is also currently a member of the Kentucky Golf Association's Board of Directors, as well as a member of the organization's Executive Committee.
Denver holds Series 66 and Series 7 licenses with LPL Financial as well as his insurance licenses. He is married to his wife, Kimberlee, and has two young children.
