Lauralea Cobb serves as Branch Operations Manager at The Kelly Capital Group, an independent advisory practice affiliated with LPL Financial, bringing extensive experience in brokerage operations, compliance, and financial services leadership within the investment industry.
She began her career in the tenant-in-common and private placement investment space, quickly developing a strong foundation in regulatory compliance and operational oversight. Over the course of her career, she has held a variety of compliance and operations roles, including serving as Chief Compliance Officer for a boutique brokerage firms in the greater Los Angeles area of California. In these positions, she developed deep expertise in risk management, regulatory adherence, and supporting efficient firm operations.
After relocating to Kentucky in 2017, Lauralea continued her career in the financial services industry with Hilliard Lyons, where she supported multiple financial advisors as a registered assistant and assisted with the Transition of the advisory business and their clients to Robert W. Baird following the Acquisition of Hilliar Lyons. She later advanced into branch leadership as Branch Operations Manager within the investment division of Central Bank under a clearing arrangement with Raymond James, where she further strengthened her experience in operational management and advisor support.
In 2026, Lauralea joined The Kelly Capital Group, where she focuses on enhancing branch operations, improving workflow efficiency, and supporting advisors in delivering high-quality client service. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Phoenix and maintains multiple FINRA securities licenses, including her Series 7, 65 and 24.
Outside of her professional work, Lauralea enjoys gardening, canning, raising chickens and livestock, as well as ballroom dancing and singing.
